Rail
Motor
My
first and only effort at building a variation of a Galloping Goose. Made
from an Ertl 1935 chevy pickup, Bowser HO tender truck, Tyco power truck,
scratchbuilt box body and platform; pilot built out of styrene with a
brass headlight.

The
backside, showing the crudeness of construction, the weathering on the
body, and the red warning lantern balancing precariously in its place.
The exhaust pipe made from brass tubing. |
| Here
is the motor disassembled. It always did just set together. The guts
from the Tyco drive were removed as it never ran very well. |
