My Version of LifeLike Star Oil

My friend John sent me the LifeLike Star Oil kit and
I decided it would make a good kitbash.
I sold all the parts except the tank, the pump house sides, roof, and stack.

The support for the tank was
made from 1/4" square pine cut from a 2X4.
I augmented it with floral wire truss rods.
The tank
is actually held to the base with brass straps 2-56 threaded rod.
The filler pipe is made from floral wire and plastic nozzles
tubes found on WD-40.

The stairway is built from basswood.
Wood parts are stained with various colors of acrylic craft paint.

The pump house was constructed and the walls
sanded smooth.
Evergreen styrene Board and Batten siding was added as was a
Grandt Line 5 panel door. It was then painted.
The paver is a piece of .060 styrene painted flat red.
